Wind chimes made here in the USA are higher quality. Period. Both in how they look AND in how they sound. I have yet to see a chime made outside of this country that matches the quality of a US-made chime. And if you would see them side-by-side, you would probably agree. Every part of the US wind chime looks, feels, and sounds better than the non-US chime.

And that original quality greatly impacts how long the chime lasts.

People often call into BuyChimes to get their chimes repaired.  And why not?!  It's a thrifty and great idea to have your chime restrung or to order a missing part. But unless it's a chime made by a US manufacturer, we cannot refer them to anyone who repairs chimes.

But how fortunate for those folks who purchased a US chime! We quickly give them the name and phone number/web site for the US manufacturer, who can easily help them out.

This is NOT the case for so many "bargain" wind chimes you see on the web - Amazon and others. While those chimes may be considerably cheaper (and that is so tempting, I know!), you will most likely encounter repair issues sooner, and then not even be able to get them fixed. The manufacturing plant is located far away in another country/continent, if they even offer repair services at all.
